Of all of Malcolm Gladwell's books, this is my favorite. And I'm a huge fan of Gladwell's. What I most like about this one is how you can see the maturation in his views of faith and its connection to outcomes. In my opinion, he was always a bit dismissive of faith-based study in his past. Now he turns to the Bible to stage this study on how what you think are your greatest disadvantages are your biggest potentials strengths. I don't know anyone who couldn't grow from learning or being reminded of this lesson. And there may not be better people to teach it than David and Gladwell.
It's about the journey and the person you become along the way. Don't think this book is about greed. It's really about YOU. Timeless classic. You simply won't find a personal development guru who wasn't deeply impacted by this book. If you haven't read it before (or in a while) this is one you need to dust off and put back in your spirit.

Knowing that we were both coming into our new marriage with some history and... ummm... baggage from our pasts, my wife and I personally went through this book and workbooks. I've even recommended them to people very close to me. This program is a little different from other marriage/pre-marriage books. The focus here isn't on the topics you talk about during courtship. The focus here is more on the topics that NEVER come up with most couples... and that's the genius of it. Being love blind is a great thing but it can be costly, too. Use these guides to spur the blame-free, revealing talks you need to have to save your marriage before it starts.
If you listen to The Dave Ramsey Show, you've probably heard of Rabbi Daniel Lapin. Based on principles of ancient Jewish wisdom now made accessible to people of all backgrounds. This book outlines ten fundamental "commandments" relating to business and money. It also includes insights that will increase your potential for creating wealth, no matter what your faith or background may be. Basically, Daniel Lapin turns himself into your personal Rabbi and business coach here - and YOU get to profit, too.
Another from my personal library and my next "re-read" from this list. This one is/was tough for me because focusing has often been a challenge. But, "the dog who hunts two rabbits catches none" as they say - or something like that. The point is the narrower your focus, the greater your success. Of course there's more to what this book teaches than that and there are exercises to help you put them into practice. Like I said, I'm re-reading this one. I need it.

Along with The Millionaire Next Door, these are fantastic reads. I like "The Millionaire Mind" a little more because the author includes the practical steps and thought patterns up-and-coming millionaires employed during their rises. Honestly, you should probably get them both. "Rich" isn't as far away from most Americans as it might seem.
Along with "Thou Shall Prosper" I truly believe you can learn the keys to prospering in business both in the short-term and for a lifetime. (The more I keep recommending these books the more I realize I need to reread each of them!)
The title kind of says it all. Phenomenal book that is real and not at all judgmental. Whether married or single (or not sure what you want to be) this is a treasure trove of information and encouragement to become a better partner and to receive better partnership! Needs are needs... needs are not wants. And needs are real.
